Icônes intemporelles du design moderniste, les chaises B34 incarnent l’élégance radicale de la forme en porte-à-faux. Conçues par Marcel Breuer, elles allient la légèreté visuelle de l’acier tubulaire chromé à la sobriété fonctionnelle du cuir noir. Le modèle B34 fut imaginé au début des années 1930, dans le cadre des recherches continues de Marcel Breuer sur le mobilier en tube d’acier, amorcées à la fin des années 1920 avec notamment les fauteuils Wassily et Cesca. Figure majeure du Bauhaus, Breuer révolutionna le design mobilier du XXe siècle en fusionnant innovation industrielle et modernité raffinée.
