Ensemble de salle à manger "Basilan 1" par Afra & Tobia Scarpa pour B&B Italia, 1974 Issu de la série Basilan, cet ensemble à manger dessiné par Afra & Tobia Scarpa pour B&B Italia en 1974 incarne l’équilibre subtil entre rigueur architecturale et chaleur matérielle, propre au design italien de la décennie. Composé d’une table ronde en bambou et de six chaises assorties, il se distingue par son vocabulaire formel rigoureux : piètement croisé, assise large, structure géométrique aux lignes affirmées. L’ensemble reflète la signature des Scarpa, mêlant fonctionnalité assumée, volume sculptural et maîtrise du détail.
